Hope you're having a good weekend so far!
A lot of people have asked me what my favourite songs are from the 1980s. To be honest with you, there's absolutely chock loads that I love, it's really really hard to narrow down which ten of them I love the most.
So if I had to be honest, here is my most up to date top 10 favourite songs of the 80s. Do you have a similar list?
1. Say Hello, Wave Goodbye - Soft Cell (1981)
2. Reap the Wild Wind - Ultravox (1982)
3. West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys (1987)
4. Father Figure - George Michael (1987)
5. True - Spandau Ballet (1983)
6. Wham! Rap (Enjoy What You Do?) - Wham! (1983)
7. Lessons in Love - Level 42 (1987)
8. Love's Great Adventure - Ultravox (1984)
9. Save a Prayer - Duran Duran (1982)
10. Fade to Grey - Visage (1980)
I know what some of you are thinking "You say you're a George Michael fan, but why are the songs you've chosen almost at the bottom of your list?" I can explain. I haven't put them in the order that I listen to them, it's more like the top 10 I play the most, hence they're my favourites, so I hope that puts your mind at ease.
So with all that being said, I hope to see you in the next post,
Sigourney
